At SkorpionStore.com, we stand behind the quality of our cricket bats and aim to deliver a pro-grade experience to every player — whether you’re playing in your local league or representing your state. Our warranty policy ensures peace of mind with every purchase.
1. Warranty Duration
All cricket bats purchased from SkorpionStore.com come with a standard 90-day limited warranty from the date of delivery.
2. What’s Covered
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in handle, splice, or blade
- Unnatural cracks or splitting under normal playing conditions
- Handle detachment under reasonable use
The warranty applies only to bats used with leather cricket balls and not with hard tennis balls or rubber balls.
3. What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Surface cracks caused by improper knocking or lack of oiling
- Damage from excessive moisture or water
- Toe cracks or cracks from yorkers on unprotected bats
- Use with non-standard balls (tennis/rubber balls)
- Normal wear and tear or aesthetic issues (color, decals, grains)
4. Conditions for Warranty
To be eligible for warranty, the bat must:
- Be properly knocked in (we offer pre-knocked bats as an option)
- Be used with leather cricket balls only
- Not be used in wet or damp conditions
- Not be exposed to excessive heat or stored in car trunks or direct sunlight
5. Warranty Claim Process
To raise a warranty claim, follow these steps:
- Email us at support@skorpionstore.com within 90 days of delivery.
- Include your order ID, photos of the damage, and a short description of how the issue occurred.
- We will review your claim within 5 business days and provide instructions for shipping if applicable.
Upon approval, we may offer one of the following resolutions:
- Free repair or replacement (if stock is available)
- Partial store credit (based on usage and condition)
- Professional repair at a discounted rate
6. Shipping for Warranty Claims
Buyers are responsible for shipping the bat to our warranty processing center. We will cover the cost of shipping it back to you after repair/replacement, within India.
7. Warranty for International Orders
Warranty claims for international orders are evaluated similarly; however, both-way shipping costs must be covered by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
8. Final Notes
Cricket bats are handmade products, and minor imperfections are natural. With proper care and maintenance, your bat can deliver exceptional performance for a long time.
We recommend using protective toe guards, anti-scuff sheets, and regular oiling as part of your bat care routine.
